 No two individuals are alike. Yet, everyone deals with the same functions in their daily lives. I focus on ways for people to experience those functions in an inspiring and enriching manner. Each piece is designed and crafted for each individual. No two pieces are alike.
The collaboration of artisan and owner insures that each piece is designed and executed in a unique and satisfying way.
I am Jerold D. Huth, born and reared in Wisconsin, where I presently live. Having spent half of my 60+ years in California as well, I developed new ways of thinking and seeing; new ways of integrating the arts with construction. I have also tempered those ways by exposing myself to the study of martial arts (Aikido) and traditional healing for a unique perspective that is open, yet restrained, simultaneously. Never too outrageous and, conversely, never too rigid (Integrating the Yin and the Yang.)

I have had limited gallery showings due to the fact that most of my work has been on a commission basis with very specific parameters set by the individual, designer or architect. On rare occasion, I may do a speculative piece that will be posted on this site, or presented at a gallery or showroom. Check back here from time to time to see if there may be something of interest to you. Commissions are the surest means of the piece being yours.
Wood is primarily used, however the design dictates the appropriate materials to be used. Metal, glass, plastic, ceramic and textile increase the palette's options.
